Dan Ferrigan, has worked on four films including The Human Toll, India: A New Life (a PBS-Frontline World production), Getting Rid of Libby, BLUR, and To Serve and Protect.

Dan began his career in television news. He worked for ABC affiliates around the country as a photojournalist before settling down in Boston.

Dan began his film career by co-writing, directing and editing a 30-minute short film "Getting Rid of Libby" which has been screened at numerous venues across the Northeast.

In 2003, a screenplay he co-wrote, titled "Loomis", was a finalist in Project Greenlight 2. Project Greenlight is a screenplay contest sponsored by HBO & Miramax. "Loomis" ranked in the top 4% of over 6,000 scripts. He is currently working on a number of other screenplays.

As chief photojournalist in Burlington, Vermont, he won numerous broadcasting awards including an Edward R. Murrow award, Associated Press awards and the American Heart Association Media award. He currently works at a cable channel in Boston, MA.

Dan was born in Wilmington, Delaware and grew up in Winslow, Maine.
